Preserving Our Pension Benefits

The Inter-Local Pension Fund Board of Trustees is dedicated to protecting our Fund and preserving the highest level of benefits possible for all of us. The Trustees are proposing changes to our Pension Plan, to be effective January 1, 2018. These changes are designed to strengthen the Fund’s finances and preserve benefits for active participants and retirees. This website explains the changes, why they need to be made, and what's next.

    Active and retired participants voted to approve the changes by a vote of 77.67% to 22.33%.
